Common questions about login issues.
When you tap a link inside Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter/X, or an email app — it opens a mini browser inside that app instead of your real browser (Safari or Chrome). These mini browsers don't save your login properly, so every time you close the app, you get logged out and end up in a loop.
Look at the top of the screen. If you see the app's header (like Facebook's blue bar or Instagram's logo) instead of your normal browser's address bar, you're in an in-app browser. This page will also display a yellow warning banner at the top if it detects one.
No — clearing cookies and cache will not delete your saved passwords in most browsers. However, it will log you out of all websites, so you'll need to re-enter your login credentials on sites you visit. Your actual saved passwords in Chrome, Safari, etc. remain intact.
Try these additional steps: make sure you're not in Private/Incognito mode; restart your browser completely (close all tabs and reopen); restart your phone or computer; and if possible, try a different browser entirely. If none of that works, contact us and we'll help troubleshoot further.
Login loops are usually caused by stale or corrupted cookies/cache, in-app browsers that don't save cookies, or privacy settings that block cookies. Once you clear your data and use a real browser, it should stay fixed. Bookmarking the site helps avoid accidentally using an in-app browser in the future.
